I never thought Disney will still be able to come up with another fairytale movie. After their successive movies that caught the hearts of millions, Disney, once again made a movie that will surely captivate the hearts of many. Princess and the frog was obviously taken from the classic, The Frog Prince. Disney just twisted somethings on it that made the movie, interestingly cute. The story revolves around Tiana, a hard working waitress and Prince Naveen, the lazy prince. Naveen was turned into a frog by some voodoo guy (Dr. Facilier). He met Tiana, and thought she was prince as she was wearing a princess costume, because there was a costume party in the castle. Naveen asked her to kiss him, thinking that a kiss will break the spell and will turn him back into a man. Tiana kissed the frog, but instead of back to being a human, the exact opposite happened. Tiana became a frog. So the two both had a wonderful adventure finding their way to Mama Odie to have her turn them back into humans.

After the last Jackie Chan Movie I've seen, Kung Fu Panda, I never had any news about Jackie's movies. Well, I've heard of Shinjuku Incident but wasn't that interested. It's not the usual Jackie Chan movie. I thought I will never see the old Jackie Chan I loved. Not until I saw "The Spy Next Door". Well there's nothing really new about this movie. It's a common story about a guy (Bob Ho, aka Jackie Chan) who wants to live a new life and forget his old life, including his old job. His girlfriend (Jillian, aka Amber Valleta) is also his neighbor. Jillian has 2 children, Ian and Nora, and 1 step child, Farren. Jillian loves Bob but her children don't and she doesn't have any idea what Bob does. Bob worked as a CIA Spy. But he already retired cause he wanted to have a family of his own. And he wants a family with Jillian. But he had to win the hearts of her children first, and that was tougher than being a spy. Ian, however, noticed a file on Bob's computer which he thought was about the concert at Stockholm.

Avatar has been interestingly getting high scores from almost all reviews I've seen. That's not the reason why we gave it an "Offensive" Rating.

First of all, the movie is with great quality. The story is great and not like the typical movies we have now. The effects are spectacular, making it "One of the best cinematic experiences ever", as some viewers have stated. It's the type of movie you would want to watch from beginning to end.

It's not really recommended for kids since the violence and the intense scenes are frequent. Sex and nudity is moderate but still not good for kids. We don't recommend this movie for Christians either. The story revolves around the habitants of planet Pandorra and how the attempt of the sky people to take their home away was not successful because of the help of Eywa. Eywa is their mother nature or like Gaia.

The movie was basically about a  group of soldiers at a war. Everything you can imagine at a war zone, and even worse were pictured at the start of the movie. It was gory. Very. Bloody and full of destruction. After a few minutes, the movie tells you that the group of soldiers were actually to shoot a movie. Together with all the crew, they were shooting a movie about a rescue at Vietnam. But the actors hired were like the most terrible people to discipline. And they were having a hard time in completing the movie. Until they changed the style of the movie. The director, desperately wanting to finish the movie, was down to the last trick. They were about to make it a Reality Movie. They set up cameras at everywhere and had the soldiers continue their journey. The real story started there, they encountered a lot of surprises and Ben Stiller was captured by the Vietnamese. The 4 soldiers left were to rescue him.

Imagine That

"A financial executive who can't stop his career downspiral is invited into his daughter's imaginary world, where solutions to his problems await."

The story began with Eddie Murphy (Evan Danielson) looking for his daughter's blanket. Also called a Goo Gaa. We were then taken back to a week earlier, with Yara Shahidi's (Olivia) voice narrating. Evan was a business man and was too busy for everything. He was even forgetful as what was implied in the movie. He was divorced and had a daughter, Olivia, whom he had to take care of. While his career is slowly going down, he discovered that his daughter's imaginary princesses provide him the keys to strengthen his career.
