Live!
January 12, 2012 in Blog by Abigail Abanilla
To live is such a big adventure. What lies up ahead is a big mystery. Somtimes so much that present is often ignored. It was until recently that I realized that life is too short to worry about things that haven’t even taken place yet. I don’t say forget about what tomorrow brings. Don’t get me wrong. There are just days that we’re so filled with things that need to be done, too occupied of the things of the future that we tend to forget about what’s going on this very moment in time. 1/12/2012 only happens once. Live! Jesus died so we can live and live abundantly!

Jesus came to earth to set us free. Make use of that freedom and live! Live life to give glory to God.
There are ways to live. Live not like the world does, for theirs is something temporary and skin deep. Live the Jesus way of living. He alone is the source of life. Know Him and learn His ways. Walk with Him.
When Jesus was here on earth, He brought life with Him wherever He went. Where He was, there was healing, freedom and life. That’s the Jesus way of living.
Love the Lord Your God with all Your heart and all Your soul and all Your mind.
Give thanks to God for all He’s done. For the salvation and freedom He brought. Praise Him for his goodness and the wonder of His works. For this is the fullfilment of man. Pray! Because you can never do it on your own. Read His Word. By doing this you will know His will and purpose in your life.
Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
Love your mom and dad, sisters and brothers. Play with your brother and talk to your sister. Listen to your parents and honor them. For this is what the child of God does. Love your classmates or officemates and do not harm them. Compete with them in doing what’s good for others. Outdo them in doing honor. Encourage them. Comfort them in times of trouble. Be there for your friends when they need a shoulder to cry on. That’s what Jesus would do.
Go to church and serve your fellows! Follow traffic rules and always let peace prevail. Seek peace and not strife.
Love God. Love righteousness. Love your family, church, work and friends. Love and live!
