Grace Is Powerful Enough

Before you were born, Jesus laid His life for you. He died on a Cross to set people free from sins. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son and whoever believes in Him, will not perish but have everlasting life. And the message was passed on from generations to generations. Today, the message is still alive. It’s been 2011 years, and the same message still revolves all over the world.
Do you really think Jesus’ Saving Grace still exists? It happened two thousand eleven years ago. That was a long time. And He only did it once. Millions of people are being born every year. Do you really think His grace is still alive? Does it still work? This is probably one of the reasons why more and more people are turning away from Him. It’s starting to sound like a fantasy. Doesn’t it sound too good to be true? With all the world getting filthier everyday, with all your actions getting worse everyday, do you really think God can still forgive?
I think only God can answer these questions.
As a matter of fact, He knew this day would come. The day, we start doubting His Grace and His power. So, He actually had it written on His book, the bible. Let’s see what He says about this and let’s get it straight from Him.
2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is sufficient for you”
Isaiah 1:18 – “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”
I think, Jesus answered it clearly. His grace is sufficient. His grace is enough. Of course, He knew how sinful people are but He still said that. This only means, His grace is just big enough for every man’s sin.
And someone asked Jesus, how many times should we forgive? Jesus answered, seventy times seven (always). Jesus told us to always forgive our fellowmen. Why? Because, He does the same thing! His forgiveness is always there. And mind you, He isn’t bound in time. He’s been alive long before.
Whatever year it is, whatever time of the day it is, and no matter how many sins you’ve done yesterday, Jesus said – “His mercies are new every morning” and that “Where sin abounds, grace abounds much more”.
Isn’t it amazing? Jesus knew, that today someone will be doubting His power to save. So He already left us His Word to clear things out. And it’s clear enough. No sin, is too big for the blood of Jesus Christ to wipe out. If you think your sins cannot be forgiven anymore, you don’t know God at all! May you find peace in God’s grace and faithfulness tonight.
