And it was written – “Where sin abounds, grace abounds much more”. Do you really think Christians are special? Christians are just another group of people. They are the group who accepts the fact that they sin, they do things wrong, they make mistakes and they admit they can’t face life alone. They know they need God’s grace to save them. But being a Christian doesn’t mean you never sin again. As long as you live on earth, you’ll never be perfect. And Christians know that.

Every Christian’s struggle is to become more like Christ everyday. That’s why they’re called Christians. But they’re still humans and there’s always a point in their lives when they make mistakes, make the wrong decision, stumble and fall. It’s hard to be a Christian. Would you agree that the more you know, the more you don’t know? And the more you know, the bigger responsibility you have and the more chances you fail. The only thing a Christian is holding on to, is grace. God’s amazing grace.

And it was said “though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow”. We recognize this. We know and believe that this is what the Lord says. But whenever a Christian sins, the faith gets weaker. Whenever he makes a mistake, the harder he feels inside. He feels guilty and ashamed. Because of this guilt and shame, faith gets weaker and smaller. Then a Christian starts to doubt the Word of God, thinking “Would God really forgive me for what I’ve done?”. A pastor once said, “doubt is faith, going backwards”. The opposite of faith is doubt.

To tell you the truth, nothing changes in God’s Word whenever you sin. You might have been doing the wrong things in life over and over again. But then Jesus said to forgive seventy times seven. Jesus forgives. He just needs you to believe. The more you sin, the more you doubt. Cause you think that you’re sins are just too much to forgive. That’s how amazing God’s grace is! Your sin is too much but God’s grace is SO MUCH MORE. Never ever compare your sin to God’s abundant grace. No sin can measure up to God’s grace.

Christians, open your eyes. God’s amazing grace forgives and cleanses the sins of whoever believes. The devil wants you to sin, and leads you to believe that God cannot forgive you anymore. No! Don’t let the devil get in your thoughts. Hold on to the same Word of God you’ve been holding on before. People may not forgive but God will. He already did. He paid the price for whatever you’ll be doing now.

Isn’t it amazing? Every day you can start a whole new life. Read your bible over and over again. Until it gives you the faith you need to face the world again. Good morning!
